EFFECTIVE REGENERATIVE TREATMENTS
The goal of regenerative medicine is to restore the function of human joints by replacing cells, tissues or organs that have lost function due to age, disease or injury, or by replacing the defective cells within them, using a range of clinical therapies. It is a minimally invasive treatment.

At ARTRO Clinic, we use a variety of strategies, new materials and cells or combinations of cells to restore structure and function. Regeneration also promotes the body’s innate ability to repair itself. We use the most effective products (hyaluronic acid, platelet-rich plasma, autologous treatment with regenerative cells, autologous proteins) to improve blood circulation and stimulate the regeneration of cells in the damaged area. This treatment is particularly relevant for athletes. Regenerative medicines help them recover from injuries, improve performance or relieve pain.
- Injection of hyaluronic acid preparations into the joints. A safe remedy that reduces inflammation and improves joint mobility. Almost free of side effects, but not very effective in cases of advanced joint wear.
- Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) injections. Injections into joints and inflamed areas. Another safe and effective treatment. Complications are very rare, because the treatment uses the patient’s own blood.
- Shockwave therapy
- High-intensity laser treatment
Regenerative medicine treatments will help you resume your normal activities after just a few weeks. It will take three to six months to reach maximum recovery.
PRP
ARTRO Clinic keeps pace with innovation, so we are introducing our clients to an innovative joint treatment – Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP). This new treatment at our clinic will help patients to AVOID surgery and RECOVER even FASTER. Joint inflammation, cartilage wear and tear (osteoarthritis) and tendonitis are cases where PRP is particularly effective.
What is PRP?
Injection of platelet-rich plasma into the joint is a natural treatment that speeds up the healing and regeneration of tendons and cartilage.
The PRP treatment uses the patient’s own blood cells – platelets.
They activate blood circulation and cell renewal in the damaged areas and stimulate the production of collagen and hyaluronan in joints. The plasma prepared according to a special technique has the concentration of platelets that is many times higher than in the blood, so the results are quickly visible and long-lasting.
How is PRP treatment performed?
For the treatment, a small amount of blood is drawn from a vein and processed in a special machine that increases the platelet count by a factor of 6 to 8. Blood drawn from the patient’s vein is placed in a special container and centrifuged for 5–10 minutes, during which time the plasma and platelets separate from the red blood cells. The resulting blood cell concentrate is injected into the joint or damaged tissue.
How long does it take?
The treatment is very simple and fast – from the time the blood is drawn to the last injection, it only takes 30–50 minutes!
What are the effects?
Patients begin to feel the effect a few days after the treatment – pain is reduced, joint mobility is improved and healing after injury is accelerated. Patients enjoy a significant increase in mobility and improved quality of life.
